The Remington® Traditional Collectible Knife Series – 3 Exciting New Offerings for 2008

Madison, N.C. – Each year, sportsmen and knife collectors eagerly anticipate the arrival of Remington’s collectible knife series. For 2008, Remington is continuing the tradition by offering three highly collectible, limited edition knives.

2008 Bullet® Knife – Continuing a tradition that spans over two and half decades, Remington is proud to offer the 2008 “The Veteran” Bullet Knife. This unique folder is designed in the classic barlow pattern and features a 2 1/2 inch one-armed razor blade and a 2 inch pen blade with long-pull. The beautiful amber jig-bone handle has nickel silver bolsters and rivets with solid brass liners and traditional Remington bullet shield on the face side and has a closed length of 3 1/2 inches.

2008 “100th Anniversary Pump Action Shotgun” Knife – This handsome collectible celebrates 100 years of Remington Pump Action shotguns. Designed in the Waterfowl R-23 pattern, this knife features a red smooth bone handle with clip and serrate blades along with a choke tube wrench and pin punch. The 100th Anniversary Pump Action Shotgun Knife has a closed length of 4 ¼ inches and comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.

Outdoor Exploration Knife – The fourth and final in a series of highly collectible, one-year production knives celebrating the exploration of the great American wilderness. The West knife features both the Remington logo and traditional “Remington Country” compass face with the corresponding direction etched on the clip blade. In addition to the unique blade work, the “compass” shield, signifying the outdoor exploration series, is embedded on the genuine jig-bone handle. The handle is accented with nickel silver bolsters and rivets with solid brass liners. The West knife is constructed with a 3½½ inch clip blade and a 3 ⅜ inch spey blade.
