There is a slight difference between these two types of shells. Target loads are designed for clay shooting, while game loads are designed for hunting applications. Target loads like Remington’s Gun Club, Nitro 27, and STS bring lighter payloads, lower recoil, and slower velocities. Game loads traditionally have higher velocities, higher antimony shot, and bigger shot sizes.
