With four different load options, Nitro Steel Duplex works great for smaller waterfowl like teal, medium-sized widgeons, wood ducks, or gadwalls, up to the largest mallards, canvasbacks, and geese.

Nitro Steel Duplex velocity is 1450 fps. Remington optimized velocity to ensure best pattern performance up close and exceptional performance at longer ranges.
Depending on which load you are hunting with, Nitro Steel Duplex is effective from 15 yards - 40 yards+.
Remington pattern tested Nitro Steel Duplex out to all common hunting ranges. We found pattern density and pellet energy highly effective out to 40 yards+. Each load will have a sweet spot. We encourage each duck hunter to pattern test your shotgun and find your optimal load and range.
Nitro Steel Duplex will add additional loads and shot sizes like BBx2 and BBx4 next year.
