Madison, N.C. – Haley Heath, a Remington Arms Company, Inc. spokeswoman and host of TV show "Family Traditions" on the Sportsman Channel, hosted the 2009 Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) Red Letter Awards Gala in Atlanta, Georgia. The event, held on October 13th, recognized seven outstanding WICT women from the Atlanta Chapter for their achievements, leadership and advocacy in the cable industry.

More than 600 people within the industry, representing networks such as Turner, Cox, HBO, Discovery, Weather Channel, Sportsman Channel, TNT and TBS, attended the 2009 Red Letter Awards Gala. As the oldest and largest organization serving women professionals in cable telecommunications, WICT is dedicated to developing female leaders.

The elegant evening's theme was "Be a Catalyst" something Heath exemplifies as an accomplished hunter and outdoorswoman. As host of hunting show "Family Traditions," Heath was the first woman ever to be recognized with the Viewer Favorite Personality award, which she received during the 2008 Annual Sportsman Channel Awards. In addition, she placed second on ESPN’s Ultimate Outdoorsman Search in 2006 and has been highlighted in USA Today®, The Wall Street Journal® and on ABC Nightly World News for her work as a hunting industry ambassador and TV show host. Heath joined Remington’s pro staff to promote the iconic gunmaker in August 2009 and is the first female spokesperson representing the brand.
