Remington Celebrates 25 Years of the Model Seven™

Madison, N.C. – In 1983 Remington introduced the compact Model Seven rifle; and twenty five years later, it’s still one of America’s favorite hunting rifles. New for 2008, Remington celebrates with the introduction of the Model Seven 25th Anniversary chambered in 7mm-08 Remington.

The 25th Anniversary edition Model Seven features a beautiful American walnut Classic Deluxe-style stock that’s custom laser engraved with “Model Seven 25th Anniversary” and has an intricate 25th anniversary medallion inset on the grip cap. Adding to its traditional good looks is a high-sheen blued finish on the receiver, bolt and 22-inch standard-contour barrel. Remington’s new ultra-crisp X-Mark Pro™ Trigger and SuperCell™ recoil pad put the finishing touches on this classic commemorative rifle.

The 7mm-08 Remington cartridge and the Model Seven are a match made in heaven. The flat trajectory and on-game performance of the 7mm-08 Remington combined with the inherent accuracy and fast handling capabilities of the Model Seven provide a wonderful deer hunting combination. Perfect for the gun collection or the deer woods, the Model Seven 25th Anniversary edition celebrates a quarter century of classic Remington design, accuracy and performance.
