The versatility of our autoloading Super Magnums results from the unique metering system of its gas-operated action. With 2 3/4" field loads, an integral pressure relief valve remains closed, utilizing all of the shell’s pressure to operate the action. When heavier or longer shells are used, the valve opens proportionately to release the extra, unneeded pressure — retaining the right amount to operate the action. This not only assures reliable handling of all shell lengths, but prevents excessive bolt velocity that could increase wear.

Like all Model 11-87 Premier shotguns, the Super Mag version features a high-polished blued receiver and barrel, a high-gloss finished American Walnut stock and fore-end, ivory front bead with steel mid-bead, and a set of three Rem™ Chokes (Improved Cylinder, Modified, & Full).
