Whether your
travels take you to the savannah of Africa or the tundra
of Alaska, this is the gun to take along. Designed and
crafted for superior big game stopping power, the
Remington® Model 700™ Safari KS delivers the accuracy
and dependability you need when faced with large and
potentially dangerous game.

All Safari rifles start with the exclusive Remington
Model 700 bolt design. Unlike Mauser-type bolt actions,
there is no ejector cut in the bolt face to weaken the
integrity of its design. An unbroken wall of steel
surrounds the extractor, making it grip the cartridge
head tighter as you extract the spent cartridge. And you
can rest assured that the silky smooth operation won't
bind or drag. Receivers are machined from solid billets
of select ordnance grade steel and barrels are hammer
forged, button rifled, and chambered one at a time. For
right-hand shooters, the all-stainless steel barrel and
action shrug off the corrosive attacks of jungle saunas,
mountain blizzards, and coastal salt spray. No detail is
overlooked on Safari rifles. Remington's skilled
craftsmen individually inspect, hand-assemble, and
carefully test each component to ensure a lifetime of
dependability. The trigger mechanism provides the
fastest lock-time of any bolt action rifle, and delivers
crisp, reliable performance, shot after shot.
The Model 700 Safari KS features a rugged fiberglass
stock, which is reinforced with aramid fiber for
unvarying stability. Not only will it handle the hard
knocks, but it's strong enough to absorb the
stock-straining recoil of the magnum cartridges. Each
custom-barreled action is carefully bedded to the stock
for consistent, shot-to-shot accuracy. Designed for
quick handling, the trim grip fits the hand snugly and
the positive checkering provides a sure hold.
Put everything together, and you get the strongest, most
accurate rifle for hunters who seek out the ultimate
challenges big game hunting has to offer. The Remington
Model 700 Safari rifle is the only gun to have when the
first shot is the only one that counts.
