Remington’s Powder Metal Products Division (PMPD), was an
early pioneer in the development of powder metals technology.
Teamed with other innovative companies such as IBM, Pitney-Bowes
and Maytag during the early 1950’s, a technology was developed
that is the foundation of high-density powder metal manufacturing.
Over the last half century, Remington’s use of the
Powder Metals process in the manufacture of it’s own product line,
as well as the production of parts for numerous outside customers
has given Remington significant experience in the development of
unique manufacturing processes, and feedstocks, and a long
reputation as a manufacturer of quality Powder Metals parts.
Our long history of innovation has resulted in many
Powder Metal Industry awards, along with a reputation as a leader
within the Powder Metals Industry.
