Simple Venison Meat Loaf1 1/2
pounds ground venison
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/3 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon onion, finely diced
1 cup quick-cooking oats
3/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Mix all ingredients well but gently
and place in a loaf pan. Using a spoon, make an indentation down
the center of the meatloaf. Fill with additional ketchup. Bake
at 350 degrees fro 1 hour. Serve with ketchup or tomato gravy.
Serves 6.
Tip: Add mashed potatoes and
green beans for a comforting meal. |
