Madison, N.C. – Remington’s highly successful cutlery series, the Sportsman F.A.S.T. Folding and Fixed Blade Knives are being offered with Mossy Oak® Blaze Orange Handles in 2009. The F.A.S.T. (Fast Action opening with Soft Touch handle) knives, introduced in 2006, are currently available with two optional blade finishes and choice of camouflaged or matte black handles.

The Sportsman Series F.A.S.T. Folding Knives feature an innovatively-designed thumb collar which provides for quick, one-hand opening. These highly-functional knives are available in Large (3 5/8-inch blade) or Medium (3 1/8-inch blade) with a serrated/straight combo edge constructed of 440 stainless steel. The handles are constructed of anodized aluminum scales with integrated lanyard hole and convenient pocket clip. The rubber-coated handle has a soft feel, but provides excellent grip and control when working in less than ideal conditions. Overall closed length is 5 inches for the Large folder and 4 1/8-inches for the Medium folder.

The Sportsman Series F.A.S.T. Fixed Knives feature an anodized aluminum scale handle with rubberized coating riveted to a solid one-piece 3.9mm thick tang with lanyard hole. The combo edge, serrated/straight blade is constructed of 440 stainless steel and blade length is 5 3/4-inches with an overall length of 10 1/2-inches. Each F.A.S.T. Fixed Knife comes with a heavy duty, black nylon sheath with handy belt loop.

Both folding and fixed blade knives are available in four handle finishes - Mossy Oak Obsession®, Realtree® Advantage MAX 4-HD®, Matte Black, or new for 2009, Mossy Oak Blaze Orange. All models are available with either Bead Blast Stainless Steel or Black Oxidized Stainless blades.
