Madison, N.C. – The Remington® Arms
Crest Shield represents a tradition that dates back to the
1800’s where the crest was found on every firearm manufactured
from 1888 to 1914. The Remington Heritage Series of
traditional folding knives celebrates that same legacy with the
crest stamped on the front bolster of each knife in the
collection. New for 2009, Remington is proud to introduce two
exciting new offerings in the Heritage Series, the 2-Blade
Razor and the Congress folding knives available with
Green Jigged Bone or Laminated Wood handles. The current
collection is comprised of eight classically-styled knives,
perfectly suited for the avid collector or for everyday use.
The 2-Blade Razor Folder features a razor and clip blade
constructed of 440 high carbon stainless steel with a hollow
ground finish. The blades close nicely within either a Green
Jigged Bone (R-93 pattern) or two-toned Laminated Wood handle
(R-91 pattern). Nickel silver bolsters and thick brass liners
complete the traditional look of the knives. The closed length
is 3 inches.
The Congress Folder features four blades (Spey, Sheepfoot,
Razor, and Pen) constructed of 440 high carbon stainless steel
with a hollow ground finish. The four blades close nicely within
either a Green Jigged Bone (R-103 pattern) or two-toned
Laminated Wood handle (R-101 pattern). Nickel silver bolsters
and thick brass liners complete the traditional look of the
knives. The closed length is 4 inches.
