America’s Most Popular Autoloader Now Available in Left-Handed Version
– the Model 1100™ G3

Madison, N.C. – Left-handed shooters rejoice! The Remington® Model 1100 autoloading shotgun, whose solid reputation on the range and in the field garnered the title of America’s most popular autoloading shotgun, is now available in a left-handed version in our newest platform – the Model 1100 G3 LH. This enhanced 12-gauge, 2 3/4 and 3-inch capable gun has been engineered so future generations can count on the same reliability, smooth-handling and soft-recoiling characteristics that many have trusted for decades.

The G3 design incorporates features that enhance the gas-operating system, reduce wear and improve cleaning of the time-proven Model 1100. The solid carbon steel receiver has a Titanium- colored PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating which provides an attractive, durable finish. All internal operating parts (action bars, action bar sleeve, action spring, locking block, hammer, sear and magazine tube) are honed and feature a nickel-plated, Teflon® coating as do the trigger and extended carrier release. Other improvements include pressure compensated operating system which enables the use of light 2 3/4-inch target loads interchangeably with heavier 3-inch magnum loads; hammer-forged, carbon steel 28-inch vent rib barrel that is overbored (diameter of .735 inch); lengthened forcing cones; and custom-designed ProBore® choke tubes with Improved Cylinder, Light Modified, Modified, Improved Modified and Full flush tubes included.

Beyond enhancing performance, this left-handed Model 1100 G3 wears the stylish, new look of a Remington Realwood® laminate stock. Realwood construction is an exclusive process that bonds two pieces of solid, semi-fancy American walnut with carbon fiber reinforcement. The result is a handsome, extremely durable real wood stock. Both stock and matching fore-end feature a high gloss finish and stylized, laser cut checkering. Chrome-finished operating handle; insignia “R” logo on the grip cap; and handsome embellishment on the receiver complete the G3 package.

We have not forgotten our Southpaw friends. In addition to the Model 1100 G3 LH in 12 gauge, you will discover three new left-handed centerfire rifle offerings from Remington in 2008.
