Remington Offers Versatile Model 870™ Express®
12-gauge Combo
with Fully-Rifled Cantilever and Vent Rib Barrels
Madison, N.C. – The Remington® Model
870 pump-action has long been a favorite of bird and small game
hunters and slug hunters have found the rifled-barrel version to
be deadly accurate and dependable. Remington offers hunters who
pursue multiple species of game the best of both worlds with the
new Model 870 Express Synthetic Combo in a 12-gauge
magnum offering. This reliable and versatile shotgun comes with
a 23-inch, fully-rifled cantilever barrel and a 28-inch vent rib
barrel with a Modified Rem® Choke. (Note: The Model 870 Express
Synthetic Combo is an exclusive firearm offering available only
from select wholesalers through independent Remington Premier
dealers).
The 23-inch fully rifled cantilever barrel has
long been popular with deer hunters because of its tremendous
accuracy potential with the newest generation of sabot slug
ammunition, like our new Premier® AccuTip polymer-tipped slug.
Mounting an optic is a cinch on the rock-solid Weaver-style base
that is integral with the barrel. The 28-inch vent rib Rem Choke
barrel handles both 2 3/4 and 3-inch loads and is supplied with
a Modified choke tube. Both barrels and the receiver are
finished in a black-oxide coating that provides a durable
non-reflective matte finish.
This all-purpose shotgun can switch from a goose gun to a deer
gun in just seconds and offers a great value for the sportsman
on a budget.
