century, the Remington® Model 870 has been America’s number one
pump shotgun, with almost 10 million made and sold. The
recently-introduced Model 870 Wingmaster with Semi-Fancy
Claro Walnut solid wood stock and fore-end offers hunters
and shooters a beautiful new version of this classic shotgun in
both 12 and 20-gauge offerings. (Note: The Model 870 Wingmaster

These Model 870 pump-action shotguns feature the same proven and
reliable twin-bar action that has made this shotgun so popular
with flawless feeding and ejection. Both 20 and 12-gauge models
handle shotshells from 2 3/4 to 3-inches and have hammer-forged,
26-inch and 28-inch vent rib Rem Choke® barrels, respectively.
The receiver and barrel are finished in an attractive, high
polished blue and classic pheasant and duck game scenes are
embellished onto each side of the receiver. A silver grip cap is
enhanced with a raised, script “R” logo and complements the
polished bolt. A gold-plated trigger adds the final touch,
creating the best-looking production Model 870 ever
manufactured.
The buttstock and fore-end are carefully carved from semi-fancy
Claro walnut blanks. Beautiful checkered panels adorn the pistol
grip and fore-end. This fine wood, combined with the metal
finish and classy embellishments, assures this Model 870 will be
prized by future generations as well as this one.
