“It’s fantastic to develop a standout
product like the 17 Remington Fireball that offers real
performance and value to so many hunters,” said John
Chisnall, Director Brand Management & Product Development –
Remington Ammunition. “Only Remington can bring out the
complete gun-ammunition package, developing these products
side by side so it can be done right.”
The 17 Remington Fireball, based on the classic .221
Remington Fireball case, is an extremely well balanced
cartridge that provides laser-flat trajectory, with match
grade accuracy, all in a compact package that does not
require excessive maintenance and won’t burn out barrels.
When loaded with Remington’s super accurate 20gr AccuTip-V
bullet, the .17 Remington Fireball has a blistering muzzle
velocity of 4000fps, rivaling the velocity and trajectory of
the legendary 22-250 Remington out to 300 yards. That’s
awesome performance from a cartridge that uses 50% less
powder and generates a whopping 86% less recoil than the
22-250. You’ll never lose sight of your target when firing
the .17 Remington Fireball, even with rifles scoped with
today’s high-power optics.
Whether you’re a casual shooter, varmint hunter or extreme
predator hunter, Remington offers a complete array of Model
700™ and Model Seven™ rifles chambered in 17 Remington
Fireball; guaranteed to complete the ultimate small-caliber
combination.
