.300 Remington Ultra Mag Power Level Ammunition offers hunters multiple performance levels within one firearm, which normally would only be attainable by switching guns and calibers. Most hunters are familiar with the12 ga. 3 1/2" Super Magnum shotgun which, using 2 3/4", 3” and 3 1/2" shells, is capable of delivering three performance levels in one firearm platform. Power Level III ammunition is loaded to full-bore 300 Remington Ultra Mag specifications - a caliber that defines the performance standard for 30 caliber cartridges and offers the ultimate in performance at extreme ranges for any North American big game species. This loading is traveling 500 fps faster and offers nearly 50% more energy at 200 yards than a 30-06. At 200 yards Power Level III ammo offers velocity that is 432 fps faster than the 300 WSM or 300 Win Mag while delivering 21% more energy to the target. The performance gap between the 300 Remington Ultra Mag and standard or short magnums is over 200 fps and 400 ft lbs of energy at 500 yards.
 

Power Level II ammunition has been developed to deliver performance levels identical to 300 Win Mag/300WSM, and is designed for all medium and large big game hunting at extended ranges. Power Level II ammunition offers reduced velocity and energy levels when the extreme performance of the 300 Remington Ultra Mag is not necessary.
 

Power Level I ammunition has been developed to deliver 30-06 velocity and performance levels and is perfectly suited for all medium big game hunting at long ranges. Power Level I ammo offers a recoil reduction of 53% when compared to Power Level III loadings so its ideal for spending time at the range sharpening shooting skills.
