Production Supervisor - AAC - Lawrenceville, GA

We currently have an opening for a Production Supervisor in Advanced Armament Corp. at our Lawrenceville, GA facility.
Primary Responsibilities
Supervises firearms suppressor production employees. Meets production goals, minimizes overtime, insures best practices, schedules maintenance, and maintains floor discipline. Maintains paperwork, such as daily productivity, downtime, scrap, rework, absenteeism, and overtime.
• Evaluate production schedules and work requirements necessary for schedule compliance.
• Direct shop floor manpower utilization to efficiently produce parts, while minimizing overtime.
• Recommend improvements for production, equipment, and quality of product.
• Analyze and resolve work problems. Assist workers in solving work flow problems.
• Communicate with employees all procedures and training. Gather employee feedback.
• Motivate employees by fostering an environment of respect. Resolve employee issues.
• Create shop floor safe operating procedures (SOP’s).
• Implement 5S shop floor organization and safety standards.
• Work on production assembly with workers to meet customer demand.
• Create and complete jobs in DBA
• Ensure ATF form 2’s are appropriately created during the job process
• Train employees on properly assembling products and inspecting products for quality
• Learn and train employees on the proper usage of production machines, including, EDM, welding, laser, paint system, and other manual tools
Skills and Education

• Five (5) years experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a technical environment.
• Ability to solve problems using concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
• Proficiency in MS Office products and ability to chart production metrics.
• Military experience preferred.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, see, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
