Digital Marketing Manager - Leads the short and long term strategic direction and management of the day-to-day responsibilities of web related and social marketing projects for the Freedom Group brands.

  • Manages and executes all web/social marketing projects to ensure on-time execution.
    • Website re-designs, upgrades and content
    • Social Media Platforms
    • Gaming
    • E-Commerce
    • Online Internal Tools (Partner Site & On-line University)
  • Ensures team is adhering to web/social best practices from a technical perspective.
  • Develops and communicates web/social metrics.
  • Manages appropriate marketing budget and reports on qualitative and quantitative results on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Works with the Product, MCD, Accessories and Channel teams to ensure the execution of tactical online marketing plans.
  • Reviews, provides developmental opportunities and coaches direct reports.

Skills and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications from an accredited college or university and e-commerce/Internet Marketing experience (MBA preferred). Minimum of 4 to 6 years web/social marketing experience within a Consumer Goods environment (minimum of two years experience in a Digital Marketing Manager role).
  • Superior written and verbal communications skills; including the ability to effectively deliver data and presentations to various levels of groups within the organization.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret P&L statements and to understand key marketing metrics (e.g., click-thru rates, conversion rates, market share & brand awareness).
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Computer skills: Internet, Content Management Systems, Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SiteCore preferred.
  • Thought leader on Web Design and Social Media activities.
  • Solid and demonstrated project management skills.
  • Experience with the creative development process and program execution.
  • Experience with managing and directing outside agencies.
  • Self-starter and able to work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Sound analytical skills and acute attention to detail, adept at creative thinking and problem solving.
