Remington Arms is the leading manufacturer and seller of Sporting Firearms, Ammunition and Accessories in the country. We currently have an opening for a Senior Network Administrator.

 Senior Network Administrator

The Senior Network Administrator is responsible for the day to day management of Remington's LAN/WAN and Telecommunications Infrastructure and for troubleshooting and maintaining current network infrastructure.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Update network hardware. (Cisco routers, firewalls, VPN, IPS, HP & Foundry switches).

• Monitor network status and phone lines daily. (Using Network Instruments, Solarwinds products, and Avaya telecommunications equipment).

• Test and install software upgrades on network applications.

• Schedule and replace hardware as needed.

• Troubleshoot connectivity issues.

• Manage internet infrastructure. (Using Network Instruments and LinkProof devices).

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

• Ability to travel to support all Remington remote sites.
