The Senior
Buyer Develops and implements supply management strategies
to provide uninterrupted flow of high quality materials at
the lowest total cost while optimizing service and inventory
levels. This includes both domestic and foreign sources for
metals, stampings, castings, and purchased fabricated
subassembly requirements. The successful candidate must have
a strong background in purchasing components to support a
manufacturing operation.

• Must have a
strong background in purchasing components to
support a manufacturing operation as well as
military procurement experience.
• Requirements
include a B.A or B.S. in related field coupled with
a strong technical background and a minimum of 5-7
years experience.
• Experience
utilizing e-procurement tools and SAP.
• Strong negotiating
skills and excellent computer skills in Excel, Word
and MS Project.
• Certification in
purchasing or materials preferred. |
