The Model R-15 VTR SS Varminter is designed for superior accuracy and performance.  For starters, this R-15 is fitted with a unique patent pending, triangular contoured target-grade barrel with matching triangular gas block.  This unique barrel design is a result of rigorous research and development that is focused on reducing weight, enhancing rigidity and promoting rapid heat dissipation.  The 24-inch stainless steel barrel is free-floated within the machined aluminum fore-end tube and given a recessed hunting crown for the ultimate in shot-to-shot consistency.

To round out this distinctive package, the R-15 VTR Stainless Varminter sports a one of a kind, distinctive look with olive drab colored upper and lower receiver while the stock, fore-end and grip are covered in ultra-effective Advantage MAX-1 HD® camouflage.
