best duck hunintg of the season Submitted: Oct 23, 2009 Duck season here in Southern Minnesota has been less that exciting to say the least. while opening morning ended with good numbers, the hunting since then has been almost boring. This was until a couple of friends and I decided to head to North Dakota last week. I had never hunted in that state, but was assured that I would not be disappointed, and they were right. Just before our season opened I decided to purchase the new M887 Nitromag. I thought that this would be a great time to test the new shotgun and boy did it perform well. At one point my new black shotgun was completely brown with mud and while my partners were fighting their expensive semi-autos I kept shooting and the ducks kept falling. All four days that we hunted we got our limits. I had never seen this many ducks in my life. I cannot say enough about my new Remington 887; it made the hunt more enjoyable then I dreamed it would be.
