Customer and business development for the Key Account within the sales territory.

• Negotiating with the customer to achieve desired sales results and strong customer relationships.
• Presenting new products to customers by utilizing a full range of data sources to prepare effective presentations.
• Working collaboratively with sales and supply chain partners.
• Ensuring shelf and in-store selling objectives are met through retail partners.
• Ensuring promotion price point integrity and parity at HQ-Retail level.
• Executing HQ plans.
• Developing promotional plans.
• Achieving sales volume within spend budget.
• Delivering return on investment targets.
• Executing conceptual solution based selling activities.
• Keeping manager informed of market conditions, competitive activities and marketplace intelligence.
• Meeting monthly and annual sales objectives for assigned territory, and auditing sales performance by major product group monthly.
• Collaborating with customers in the design, development and implementation of annual territory sales plans and audits results to ensure conformance to expectations.
• Interfacing with Regional Manager on account management, strategic direction and sales plans for accounts in territory.
• Managing territorial supplemental co-op and sales support budgets to obtain maximum Key Account benefits.
• Developing and implementing strategic sales plan for the territory assigned.
• Providing feedback from the territory accounts on products, program and pricing, sales velocity and competitive activity.
• Providing sales demand forecast input for territory customers on a quarterly basis.
• Expanding Remington exposure at all levels of distribution.
• Monitoring and tracking key account inventories to assist in production planning.
• Recommending new product ideas to firearms and ammunition product managers that will be received well in the market.

| Skills and Education |

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and five to ten years established record of achievement in the sales/management field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Manufacturing software; SAP Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Office Word Processing software.
• A complete understanding of the Firearms – Ammunition business from retail, wholesale, agency and manufacturing.
• Proficient and safe with a shotgun and rifle in both field and target situations.
• Knowledge of competitive products in the market; including an understanding of who they are and what they offer in the form of products, and how they conduct business in various channels of distribution.
• Must have solid experience in managing Key Accounts.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
• Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
• Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and or boards of directors.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
