Manages assigned Law Enforcement Distributors within a designated geographic area and all Remington Arms and Bushmaster Law Enforcement product sales, promotions and credit related issues. Responsibilities also include meeting with and demonstrating products at and supporting any and all applicable Law Enforcement Departments or Agencies within the designated geographic area (Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and New York).

• Promotes all Remington Arms and Bushmaster Law Enforcement applicable products.
• Initiates and manages all sales with Law Enforcement distributors as well as agencies within the designated geographic area with the intent to build sales and to gain/maintain market share.
• Effectively performs all responsibilities of this position without constant direct supervision.
• Insures positive credit positions with all direct accounts.
• Conducts product seminars, demonstrations and training for distributor sales staff.
• Conducts live fire firearms and ammunition demonstrations, product seminars and training, including, but not limited to; targets engagements, Ballistic Gel Block bullet performance demonstrations and live fire shoot houses, at any and all Law Enforcement Agencies within the designated geographic area.
• Attends and assists at Local, Regional and National Law Enforcement trade shows and events.
• Prepares product bid analysis and suggested pricing for solicitations.
• Maintains competitive industry related awareness and status.
• Travels in a safe, productive, economical and effective manner.
• Maintains flexibility to respond to any and all assignments required by the Manager of Law Enforcement Sales.
• Actively pursues new business opportunities with Law Enforcement Agencies by utilizing all typical sales methods – cold calls, phone calls and direct appointments.

| Skills and Education |

• Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year College or University; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous Law Enforcement related experience or exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of safe gun handling and instruction skills is required.
• Ability to effectively work from a home based office located within the region (must be located or willing to relocate to Northeast USA at own expense).
• Proficiency in firearms and ammunition ballistics and terminology is required.
• Familiarity with gun handling, in general, is required and experience with one or more specialty areas of handgun, rifle and/or shotgun are strongly preferred.
• Ability to travel a minimum of 100 nights per year with the possibility of up to as many as 160 nights per year.
• Ability to effectively communicate and to build strong working relationships with Law Enforcement firearms personnel and related customers.
• Ability to exhibit to the highest extent, at all times, the exceptional quality of the products manufactured by Remington Arms and Bushmaster.
• Excellent MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills required. Knowledge of sales related software programs strongly preferred.
• Clean criminal history and driving record required.
